"Music of the spheres” refers to the ancient concept of a relationship between the structures of music and those of the physical world, and an awareness of mystical or spiritual qualities being transmitted though composed sound.

Join us on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 7 PM, as the Gutekunst Flute Choir returns to perform this acclaimed program of music inspired by and related to celestial spheres both near and far. You’ll enjoy  recognizable pieces by Holst, Debussy, and Mendelssohn as well as new works by Lombardo, McLearnon and more. While listening you will watch a delightful visual accompaniment to the repertoire on the planetarium's dome.
